Treasure Chest Thursday: Postcard Book Page 10

And we're back with the next page of our postcard book today. For other posts just click on the Postcards word in the tag cloud on the right.

The postcards are all from England again

The first card is from Weston Super Mare - it was posted in 1905 and it looks like it is from one of Nurse Hogg's former patients letting her know that they are doing well.

The second card is a view of Handsworth Park in Birmingham. This card was posted in 1905 too and is addressed to Nurse Hogg again. It is a message to "Piggie" from "Billy" who is looking forward to meeting soon!

The final postcard on this page looks like the Eiffel Tower from a distance but it's actually the Blackpool Tower up in Lancashire. This card was posted in 1907. I can't make out who it's from but it looks like someone who knew Nurse Hogg as a friend rather than a patient. Whoever it is they are staying with Aunty Lily.

Come back next week - it looks like we're off to the seaside!
